Tour Itinerary: Uluru Sunset BBQ

We pick you up from Ayers Rock Resort an hour prior to the sun setting, and take you to the Uluru sunset viewing area. You will enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and take in the beautiful sunset, while your dinner is prepared by your guide. Tonight’s dinner is a freshly cooked Outback BBQ to be enjoyed while you watch the rock change colours as the sun sets. After dinner, you’ll be transferred back to the resort and dropped off at your hotel.

Please note: Uluru park entry pass is not included in the cost of the tour which is $25 per person.

We have a maximum of 52 people on the tour bus. You will travel in a comfortable air conditioned coach with a toilet on board.

What are the departure and arrival times?
• We depart Ayers Rock Resort approximately 1 hour before set up
• We return to Ayers Rock Resort (Outback Pioneer) just after sunset.

What should I bring on tour?
• Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1 litre), hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), cash for purchasing dot painting directly from artists at sunset.

Can I bring my family?
Yes. Children aged 2 years and over are welcome on our tour. Children aged 2-15 are charged $59 per person. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care.
